Good news: there is almost nothing for you to do here. Chataigne is connected to your POS, and the POS remains the source of truth for your menu.

Automatic synchronization

Most of the time, everything is automatic: depending on your POS, a synchronization runs every 5 to 10 minutes to refresh:
  • stock levels: a dish marked out of stock in your POS leaves the WhatsApp menu;
  • menu changes: new products, price changes, descriptions.
This is not the case for every integration, but in the vast majority of cases the synchronization is fully automatic.
You work in your POS as usual, and the WhatsApp menu follows on its own. No second menu to maintain, no possible gap between what the customer sees and what your kitchen can actually produce.

The one case where you need to act: switching catalogs

If you create a new catalog in your POS (for example switching from the summer menu to the winter menu), simply make sure to select the right catalog from Chataigne, in the Menus tab. Synchronization then resumes automatically on that catalog.
If a product does not show up or displays the wrong price, check your POS first, then the catalog selected in Chataigne.
